Notes from Doug:
We are currently putting together the Journeyman upgrade classes for 2007 Autumn
and Winter!
INSTALL classes are
intended for those installers who need practice/hands on experience in the area
covered. (i.e.: if you've been pattern scribing throughout your career, there's
no need to take the class!)
INSTALL
certification classes will count as eight (8) hours toward
fulfilling your Journeyman Upgrade requirements.

If you have any suggestions of classes you want us
to present, if you are interested in helping instruct a class regarding a
particular product or type of installation or if you want to register to attend
a particular class, please call us at (816) 471-0883, ext 360.
This is the ONLY number you should
call to register for any of the upcoming classes. If I am unavailable please
leave a message and a number I can reach you at.
Remember:
●You MUST have a current working
card to receive credit for either Apprenticeship or Journeyman continuing education classes!!!
● All apprentices should turn their check stubs and work logs into Brent
Ward at the apprenticeship school by the 15th of each month!!!
● All Classes are to be held
at the Training Center (105 West 12th
Avenue, North KC, MO)
unless otherwise noted
● All
Apprenticeship Classes begin promptly at 7:45 am
● All Journeyman Upgrade Classes begin promptly at 5:00 pm during the week and
7:00 am on Saturdays
●
INSTALL
certification, upon successful
completion will count as 8 hours towards upgrade.
YOU MUST BE CURRENT ON JOURNEYPERSON
UPGRADE HOURS TO TAKE THE INSTALL CERTIFICATION.
● All classes that involve INSTALL will be hands on. Please bring
your hand tools to these classes.
● If you are unable to attend a class you have signed up for, please let
me know so that I may place someone else in that spot.
There are 3 ways
to sign up for journeyman upgrade classes:
1).
Call 816-471-0883, extension #360.
If I am unavailable please leave a message and a number I can reach
you at. I do not have a company cell phone, only a personal one and
I will not accept work related calls on that number.
2).
Sign up at Union meetings (last Tuesday of each month)
3).

Anyone
interested in attending MUST register for the class. The deadline
for registration is the Friday prior to the class. If you do not
register you will not be allowed to attend.
If you are unable to attend a class
