What is INSTALL?
INSTALL
is the
International Standards and Training Alliance - a 10 member International
Labor-Management Committee for the Floor Covering Industry who steer the
INSTALL
program. INSTALL
constantly teams with leading
mills and manufacturers to make sure that
what is being taught in our training centers reflects current labor needs in the
floor covering industry. Furthermore, the INSTALL standards are
certified by the labor departments of the United States and Canadian
governments, and are quickly becoming THE industry standard for
training professional floorlayers.
INSTALL's
curriculum is delivered via classroom and hands-on training throughout the
four year apprenticeship, focusing on carpet, resilient products (linoleum, vinyl,
rubber and others), resinous (epoxy), hardwood, laminate, ceramic, stone,
artificial turf and sports surfaces as well as many other types of floor
coverings.
